Emily Dickenson, a great American poet of her time once said that, “Hope is the thing with feathers that perches and sings the tune without the words and never stops at all.” Every time I think of birds or I go for bird watching this quote automatically pops up in my mind.   The cadence of the sad heart, The suffocated soul falling apart, The wet eyes in the twilight, A tryst with the moonlit night, The brave heart foraging for rays Hush! Hush! The scared eyes says But the fluttering wings sieved through the night,  A bird is an uncaged soul, looks beautiful in its flight!

Humayun's Tomb through my eyes This mellow hue of the sky, It made my naive heart fly, The giggling path and the tickling trees, A moment so isolated to freeze, Sauntering on the trodden lines, Today I carved an untrodden trail! Humayun's Tomb, a magnificent piece of architecture, culture and beauty. This mausoleum was built with red sandstone in 16th century for Mughal emperor Humayun. Situated in New Delhi, the capital of India, this place was declared a World UNESCO Heritage site in the year 1993.

Painted Stork I set myself free breaking all the fetters, I am yet to taste the fathomless sky,   My wings might be wounded, But I still know how to fly! There are reverberations of my name, Oh listen! Dear sky is calling me, I am yet to live thousand lives before I die, I'll soon accompany you with spirits high, with spirits high!

“Hope” is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without the words    And never stops - at all – Emily Dickenson   Nature has endowed humankind with so many beautiful gifts. One such blessing is the rainbow of birds. Birds are a symbol of hope, their twittering and chirping is a source of happiness for many, their hopping and dancing is an eye captivating picture, their singing is like a river of merriment and their flight is the symbol of freedom.
