Humayun's Tomb through my eyes

This mellow hue of the sky,
It made my naive heart fly,
The giggling path and the tickling trees,
A moment so isolated to freeze,
Sauntering on the trodden lines,
Today I carved an untrodden trail!

Humayun's Tomb, a magnificent piece of architecture, culture and beauty. This mausoleum was built with red sandstone in 16th century for Mughal emperor Humayun. Situated in New Delhi, the capital of India, this place was declared a World UNESCO Heritage site in the year 1993.
